Mechanical Classification Of Sewage Pumps

Jul 21, 2025

1, Vertical sewage pump

Sewage pumps can be divided into self-priming sewage pumps, submersible sewage pumps, knife type sewage pumps, and automatic mixing sewage pumps according to different sewage discharge methods. The vertical sewage pump adopts a unique single blade or double blade impeller structure, greatly improving the ability of pollutants to pass through. It can effectively pass through 5 times the diameter of the pump and solid particles with a diameter of about 50% of the pump diameter. Vertical sewage pump, which can be moved or fixedly installed, is used for pumping and discharging sewage in construction, farmland irrigation, and enterprise processes. In addition to transporting sewage, it is also suitable for use as a drainage pump, pulp pump, irrigation, etc. Purpose: Enterprise wastewater discharge. Urban sewage treatment plant discharge system. Subway, basement, civil air defense system drainage station. Wastewater discharge from hospitals, hotels, and high-rise buildings. Sewage drainage stations in residential areas. Discharge of slurry in municipal engineering and construction sites. The water supply system of a water plant. Wastewater discharge from breeding farms and irrigation of rural farmland.

2, Submersible sewage pump

Submersible sewage pump is a type of pump product used in the environmental protection industry to transport solid-liquid mixed liquids containing solid particles, fibers, etc., such as domestic sewage, industrial wastewater, mud, etc. The WQ submersible sewage pump consists of several parts, including sewage pump, sealing system, submersible motor, control and protection system, and automatic installation system. Unlike typical sewage pumps, the WQ submersible sewage pump rotates coaxially with the motor and operates underwater simultaneously. The sealing system of the pump can effectively prevent liquid from entering the motor chamber, protecting the safe operation of the motor. The control and protection system enables the pump to promptly alarm and shut down for maintenance in the event of water leakage, oil leakage, overload, overheating, or phase failure.

3, Self suction sewage pump

The self-priming sewage pump adopts a unique single blade or double blade impeller structure, greatly improving the ability of pollutants to pass through. It can effectively pass through 5 times the diameter of the pump and solid particles with a diameter of about 50% of the pump diameter. The mechanical seal of the self-priming sewage pump adopts a new type of hard and corrosion-resistant tungsten carbide material, and the seal is improved to a double end face seal, allowing it to operate in the oil chamber for a long time, which can ensure the safe and continuous operation of the pump for more than 8000 hours. The self-priming non clogging sewage pump has a compact overall structure, small volume, low noise, and significant energy-saving effect. It is easy to maintain and does not require the construction of a pump room. The self-priming sewage pump can work by entering the water, greatly reducing the project cost. A high-precision anti-interference water leakage detection sensor is installed in the sealed oil chamber of the self-priming sewage pump, and a thermistor is embedded in the stator winding to provide absolute protection for the water pump motor.

4, Automatic mixing sewage pump

The automatic mixing sewage pump is an automatic mixing device based on the common sewage pump. The device rotates with the motor shaft to produce extremely strong mixing force, mixing the sediment in the sewage pool into suspended solids, and then sucking the sediment into the pump to discharge, which improves the anti blocking and sewage discharge capacity of the pump, completes drainage, cleaning, desilting, and saves operating costs at one time. It is an environmental protection product with obvious progressiveness and usability.
