(1) Submersible pumps should be installed in a sturdy basket before being placed in the water, or a sturdy protective net can be set up around the pump in the water. The pump should be upright in the water, with a depth of not less than 0.5m, and should not be used in water containing mud and sand.
(2) When placing or lifting a submersible pump into or out of the water, the power should be cut off first, and pulling cables or water pipes is strictly prohibited.
(3) Submersible pumps should be equipped with protective grounding or leakage protection devices. During operation, no people or animals are allowed to enter the water surface within 30 meters around the pump.
(4) The pre launch inspection items should meet the following requirements:
a. The water pipe is securely tied.
b. Tighten the plugs for venting, draining, and oiling.
c. The impeller and inlet joint are free of debris.
d. The cable insulation is good.
(5) After connecting the power supply, a trial run should be conducted first, and the rotation direction should be checked and confirmed to be correct. The operation time outside the water should not exceed 5 hours.
(6) Regularly observe changes in water level, and the distance from the center of the impeller to the horizontal should be between 0.5 and 3.0 meters. The pump body should not be submerged in sludge or exposed to the water surface. The cable shall not rub against the well wall or pool wall.
(7) After using a new pump or replacing the sealing ring for 50 hours, the water seal plug should be unscrewed to check for water and oil leakage. When the leakage exceeds 5mL, a 0.2MPa air pressure test should be conducted to identify the cause and eliminate it. In the future, it should be checked once a month. When the leakage does not exceed 25mL, it can continue to be used. After inspection, the specified lubricating oil should be replaced.
(8) After repair, the oil immersed submersible pump should first undergo a 0.2MPa air pressure test to check for leaks in all parts, and then add lubricating oil to the upper and lower shells.
(9) When the temperature drops below 0 ℃, after stopping operation, the submersible pump should be taken out of the water and dried before being stored indoors.
(10) The insulation resistance of the motor stator winding should be measured once a week, and its value should not decrease.
