The reasons and solutions for the decrease in flow rate or head of sewage lift pumps are as follows:
1. Reverse rotation of sewage lift pump
Solution: Turn off the main power switch of the control box and replace the power cord.
2. The conveying head is too high
Solution: Check if the sewage lift pump model is correct and if the outlet pipe size is correct.
3. The suction medium has gone through a bypass
Solution: Check if the valve is closed tightly, and then test the sewage lift pump at full load.
4. Leakage of water outlet pipe
Solution: Identify the leakage point, conduct inspection and repair.
5. The outlet pipe may be partially blocked by sediment
Solution: Check the pipeline, clean or replace it with a new one.
6. Partial blockage of sewage lift pump
Solution: Lift the sewage lift pump for cleaning. If the sewage lift pump is placed inside the filter screen, it also needs to be inspected and cleaned.
7. Wear of impeller or base
Solution: Lift the sewage lifting pump to adjust the clearance or replace the parts.
