The centrifugal pump for clean water is used to suction and deliver clean water and liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to water without solid particles. It is widely used in industry, agriculture, urban areas, drainage, fire water supply, etc. Clear water centrifugal pump is one of the energy-saving pump products promoted.
IS type pumps are used for transporting clean water and liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to water, without solid particles; The ISY pump is used for transporting gasoline, diesel, and light oil.
The biggest feature of the IS pump is its rear opening door structure, which eliminates the need to disassemble the pipeline during maintenance. What other structural features does it have?

1. The centrifugal pump system for clean water is designed according to the performance and dimensions specified in the international standard ISO2858. It mainly consists of pump body, pump cover, impeller, shaft, sealing ring, shaft sleeve, and suspension bearing components.
2. The pump body and pump cover of the clear water centrifugal pump are divided from the back of the impeller, which is commonly known as the rear opening structure. Its advantage is easy maintenance. During maintenance, the pump body, suction pipeline, discharge pipeline, and motor are not moved. Only the middle connecting piece of the extended coupling needs to be removed to exit the rotor part for maintenance.
3. The casing (i.e. pump body and pump cover) of a clear water centrifugal pump constitutes the working chamber of the water pump. The impeller, shaft, and rolling bearings are the rotors of the pump. The suspension bearing components support the rotor part of the pump, while the rolling bearings are subjected to the radial and axial forces of the pump.
4. In order to balance the axial force of the clean water centrifugal pump, most pumps are equipped with sealing rings in front and behind the impeller, and balance holes are provided on the rear cover plate of the impeller. Due to the low axial force of some pumps, there are no sealing rings or balance holes on the back of the impeller.

5. The axial sealing ring of a clear water centrifugal pump is composed of a packing gland, packing ring, and packing to prevent air intake or significant water leakage. If the impeller of the pump is balanced, the cavity containing soft packing is connected to the suction port of the impeller. If the liquid at the inlet of the impeller is in a vacuum state, it is easy to introduce air along the surface of the shaft sleeve. Therefore, a packing ring is installed in the packing chamber through the small hole on the pump cover to guide the pressure water in the centrifugal pump chamber to the packing ring for sealing. If the impeller of the pump does not have a balance hole, there is no leakage problem due to the liquid pressure on the back of the impeller being greater than atmospheric pressure, so the packing ring can be omitted.
6. To avoid shaft wear, a shaft sleeve protection is installed at the part where the shaft passes through the packing chamber of the clear water centrifugal pump. There is an O-ring seal between the shaft sleeve and the shaft to prevent air intake or water leakage along the mating surface.
7. The transmission method of the clear water centrifugal pump is connected to the motor through an extended elastic coupling. The rotation direction of the pump, when viewed from the drive end, is clockwise.
