1, Preparation work
Before disassembling the impeller of the fire pump, necessary preparations need to be made, including:
1. Turn off the power supply of the fire pump and disconnect the power cord.
2. Disassemble all interface pipelines and remove the fixing bolts of the pump body.
3. Disassemble the outer shell plate and remove the bearing seat.
4. Check and clean the attachments and corrosive substances on the surface of the impeller to avoid damaging the impeller structure.
2, Dismantling process
During the process of disassembling the impeller, the following precautions should be taken:
1. Use specialized tools to clamp the bearings to prevent axial and radial loads from damaging the pump bearings.
2. Pay attention to the position, quantity, and direction of relevant interfaces and seals for future reassembly.
3. Use M10 bolts to clamp the impeller, and use M16 plum blossom keys to remove the suction ball head on the shaft.
4. Remove the front and rear cover plates of the impeller and the jet pipe, then gently tap the impeller with a rubber hammer to separate the impeller and bearings.
5. After removing the impeller, check the bearings and seals again and make necessary replacements.
3, Install impeller
When installing the impeller, the following precautions should be taken:
1. Check the quality and condition of the impeller loading tool and impeller to ensure good fit between the impeller and shaft, without axial displacement or radial load.
Before installation, it is necessary to clean the impeller and bearings and apply an appropriate amount of lubricating oil.
3. Reinstall the relevant sealing and interface components according to their original positions and quantities, and check their orientation and tightness.
4. Assemble the impeller, tighten the screws, and make appropriate adjustments to ensure smooth operation of the pump.
5. Finally, gradually restore the wiring and pipelines of the pump and conduct necessary pressure tests to verify its normal operation.
The above is the method for removing the impeller of a fire pump. When carrying out maintenance, it is important to follow the relevant operating procedures and safety requirements to ensure personal and equipment safety.
