Safety Operating Procedures For High And Low Temperature Circulating Pumps

Users need to carefully read the safety operating procedures of the high and low temperature circulation pump before using it, in order to facilitate the correct use of the high and low temperature circulation pump.
1, Precautions for safe operation of high and low temperature circulating pumps
(1) Before starting, it is necessary to close the outlet butterfly valve and fill the pump with water. It is necessary to ensure that the pump is filled with enough water and there is no air left.
(2) Before starting the high and low temperature circulation pump, it is necessary to turn the rotor for more than 5 turns to ensure that the rotating unit rotor is flexible and free of jamming.
(3) Start the motor during operation, wait until the speed of the low-temperature circulation pump is normal, and then slowly open the outlet butterfly valve to achieve the required flow rate.
(4) When the high and low temperature circulation pump stops running, first close the butterfly valve on the drainage pipeline, and then stop the motor.
(5) After startup, it is necessary to check whether the temperature and vibration are normal.
2, Preparation before startup
(1) Notify the electrical personnel to check if the high and low temperature circulating pump power supply is properly connected.
(2) Check if the outlet butterfly valve is in the closed state.
(3) Check if the rotating shaft of the rotating unit rotates smoothly without any jamming.
(4) Check if the lubricating oil level of the fan is normal.
3, Operating procedures
(1) Gradually open the inlet butterfly valve of the horizontal centrifugal pump to check for any leakage in the pipeline. If necessary, notify maintenance personnel for repair, and then start the standby pump.
(2) Wait until the speed of the high and low temperature circulation pump is normal, then slowly open the outlet butterfly valve to achieve the required flow rate.
(3) Half an hour after the official start, check whether the operating parameters such as motor temperature, current, voltage, and pressure are normal.
(4) Press the start button on the on-site control button box to turn on the high and low temperature circulation pump.
4, Normal shutdown
(1) Close the butterfly valve on the outlet pipeline.
(2) Press the stop button on the on-site control box to stop the operation of the high and low temperature circulation pump.
(3) Check if the pressure gauge and butterfly valve are at zero position after the circulation pump stops.
5, Inspection of high and low temperature circulating pumps during operation
(1) During the operation of high and low temperature circulation pumps, it is necessary to check once an hour to grasp the overall operating situation, which can reduce the incidence of accidents. When viewing, one should do four things: look, listen, touch, and smell.
Check the outlet pressure, outlet flow rate, current, and sealing condition of the circulation pump.
Listen → Use your ears to hear the operation and vibration sound of the high and low temperature circulation pump. If there is any abnormal sound, notify the maintenance personnel for handling to avoid accidents.
Touch → Use your hand to touch the bearing frame and outlet pipe frame, and feel the vibration and temperature rise of the water pump through touch. If you feel hot, it means that the temperature is too high and you should immediately stop the pump.
Smell → Use your nose to ask if there is any burnt or unusual odor in the air. If there is a burnt odor, you should promptly notify the maintenance personnel.
(2) The high and low temperature circulation pump should operate smoothly without noise, and the bearing vibration should not exceed 0.08mm. The bearing temperature cannot exceed 70 ℃.
(3) The pressure and flow rate should be stable, and the shaft seal leakage should meet the requirements.
(4) The oil level should be normal and the oil quality should meet the regulations.
(5) The motor current should not exceed the rated value, the temperature rise should not exceed 65 ℃, and there should be no accumulated water or debris in the ventilation duct.
(6) According to the lubrication switching system of high and low temperature circulation pumps. Regularly add lubricating oil and switch the circulation pump.
