What Are The Characteristics Of Stainless Steel Small Submersible Electric Pumps

Feb 15, 2026

Stainless steel small submersible electric pump is a type of pump product, which is connected to the motor and works under the liquid. Compared with general horizontal pumps or vertical sewage pumps, stainless steel submersible electric pumps have the following characteristics.

feature analysis

1.Compact structure and small footprint, as submersible electric pumps work underwater and can be directly installed in sewage tanks without the need to build specialized pump rooms to install pumps and machines, which can save a lot of land and infrastructure costs.

2. Easy to install and maintain, small submersible sewage pumps can be installed by themselves, while large submersible sewage pumps are usually equipped with automatic coupling devices for automatic installation, making installation and maintenance quite convenient.

3. Long continuous working time. Due to the coaxial nature of the pump and motor, the shaft of the submersible electric pump is short and the weight of the rotating parts is light. Therefore, the load (radial) on the bearings of the submersible electric pump is relatively small, and the service life is much longer than that of ordinary pumps.

4. There are no issues such as cavitation damage or irrigation water diversion, especially the convenience brought to the operator by the rear point.

5. Low vibration noise and low motor temperature rise.

Points to note:

1.If a stainless steel small submersible electric pump is used to pump viscous mud, clean the pump chamber to prevent sediment from remaining in the pump.

2. Do not lift cables or hang water pumps.

3.When equipped with an automatic coupling device, the length of the guide rail should be determined (standard length is 3M).

4.Under normal circumstances, the oil chamber should be refilled or replaced every 300 to 500 hours of use to improve the service life of the mechanical seal. After 3000 hours of regular operation, the pump needs to be disassembled, inspected, and maintained, and if necessary, vulnerable parts that should not be reused should be replaced.

Safety measures for stainless steel small submersible electric pumps

1. When the stainless steel submersible pump is working, pay attention to the decrease in water level, and the submersible pump should not work away from the water surface.

When using a submersible electric pump, if the pump stops running, the water output is low, there is noise, and the thermal protector frequently jumps, the pump should be stopped in a timely manner.

3. Check if the power supply voltage is too low or disconnected, and if the cable is broken or out of phase.

4. Check whether the impeller is stuck or worn, whether the outlet is blocked, whether the head is too high or too low, whether the filter screen is blocked, etc. If there is a fault, find the corresponding solution.
