1. When the geographical environment allows, the water pump should be placed as close as possible to the water source to reduce the length of the suction pipe. The foundation for installing the pump should be firm, and a dedicated foundation should be built for fixing the pump station.

2. The inlet pipeline should be sealed reliably and must have specialized support. It should not be hung on the water pump. The inlet pipe equipped with a bottom valve should be installed as perpendicular to the horizontal plane as possible, and the angle between the axis and the horizontal plane should not be less than 45 °. When the water source is a channel, the bottom valve should be higher than the water bottom by more than 0.50 meters and a screen should be added to prevent debris from entering the pump.
3. The base of the machine and pump should be level, and the connection with the foundation should be firm. When the machine and pump are driven by belts, the belt bottom is tight, the transmission efficiency is high, and the direction of rotation of the pump impeller should be consistent with the direction indicated by the arrow; When using a coupling transmission, the machine and pump must be coaxial.
4. The installation position of the water pump should meet the allowable vacuum suction height requirements, and the foundation must be horizontally stable to ensure that the rotation direction of the power machinery is consistent with that of the water pump.
If there are multiple units in the same computer room, the distance between the units and the wall should be greater than 800 millimeters.
The suction pipe of the water pump must be well sealed, and elbows and gate valves should be minimized as much as possible. Air should be discharged during water filling and diversion, and there should be no air accumulation in the pipeline during operation. Require the suction pipe to be slightly inclined upwards and connected to the water pump inlet, with a certain submergence depth.

If there are any minor malfunctions with this pump, remember not to let it work. If the packing of the pump shaft is worn, it should be added in a timely manner; If the pump is used continuously, it will leak, which directly affects the motor to consume more energy and damage the impeller.
If the pump vibrates strongly during use, it should be stopped to check the cause, otherwise it may also cause damage to the pump.
When the bottom valve of the water pump leaks, someone will pour dry soil into the inlet pipe of the water pump and rinse the bottom valve with water. This is really not advisable. Dry soil placed in the inlet pipe will enter the pump when it starts working, damaging the impeller and bearings of the pump and shortening its service life. When the bottom valve leaks, it must be repaired. If it is serious, it needs to be replaced with a new one.
4. The water pump must be maintained after use. For example, if the water pump is used up, the water in the pump should be cleaned up. It's best to remove the water pipe and rinse it clean with clean water.
5. Remove the tape from the water pump, rinse with water, and air dry in the sun. Do not place the tape in dark and damp places. The tape of the water pump must not be stained with oil, let alone anything sticky.
6. Carefully inspect the impeller for cracks and ensure that it is not loose when fixed to the bearing. If there are cracks or looseness, they should be repaired in a timely manner. If there is dirt on the water pump impeller, it should also be cleaned thoroughly.
